Stock Item Returns
We will provide 100% credit towards future purchases for any stock items returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. See Return Terms and Conditions below.
Non-Stock Item Returns
Non-stock or special order items may be non-returnable or carry a restocking fee. This can be confirmed on a case by case basis. We cannot accept returns for items that were purchased over 30 days prior. Please see the Returns Terms and Conditions below.
Return Terms and Conditions
All returns must meet the following criteria: item must be in perfect, original, resalable, uninstalled condition in its original box/case/bag in new condition. Only credit on the account may be issued in the case of a return to inventory, and the credit must be used within 6 months. Customer assumes the responsibility of shipping costs on returned items. Please contact Shine On Lighting PRIOR to sending back the items to confirm their eligibility for return and start the return process. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to process and complete the return after receipt of return. Please include a copy of the invoice or packing slip in your returned shipment.

Defective / Warranty Procedure Policy
If you received a damaged or defective product from Shine On Lighting, please contact us immediately. We honor the manufacturer’s warranty on items purchased from us based on manufacturer’s approval. We process these returns as quickly as possible.
For stock items we will send you a call tag for return at our discretion. While in most cases we will cover the warranty return and replacement for warranty stock items, we reserve the right to charge shipping with notice at any time. Manufacturer warranty covers just that warranty.
For non-stock warranty items please note customer may be responsible for shipping back to Shine On or the originating factory and/or shipping for replacements on a case by case basis.
For warranty instances where product replacement is the manufacturer’s choice, the customer can receive a one for one product exchange. If the product has a newer model, we will provide the replacement model at the same cost as the original.
In some cases if you have credit in good standing or an active recent credit card on file, new product may be ordered ahead of sending back the defective item. The defective item must be returned within 30 days for the full credit to be applied. After 30 days, we will only be able to issue a one for one product replacement and no credit will be issued. If we do not receive the return back within 30 days you may be charged for your non-returned defective item.
Credit Memos/Credit Balance
If you have a credit applied to your account, all credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue. All credits must only be used for product purchases. No credit card refunds or check payments will be issued for any credit balance.
Shipping Discrepancies
Please notify us of any shipping discrepancies within 24-48 hours of receipt of product at sales@shineon.lighting.
We do double check orders on the way out, and while discrepancies do happen it is rare. Often when discrepancies are reported, the item is found in our experience over 90% of the time.
- Did you check all boxes, packages and wrapping for the missing items?
- Has anyone else had access to the items?
- Did you check the item tracking to confirm you received all boxes?
- If you are missing a box did you check with your nearest neighbor?
If the items are still missing we will double check our count sheets, tracking #s, and try to work with you to resolve the discrepancy asap.
If we are not notified of the discrepancy right away we may or may not be able to resolve your issue as we can not control on our end who has had access to your material- or what could have happened between the time you receive the material and a later date when you finally report the discrepancy.
